The transformation of the grape into wine through alcoholic fermentation is a spontaneous and at the same time guided phenomenon. Winemaking consists in intervening as little as possible and guiding the grape’s evolution with knowledge.

To live and learn through winemaking and tasting continuously, letting wine bring one another step closer and start an adventure through this.

It is the need to knowledge that inherits us on this journey. We learn and enjoy a rare essence when we combine the mystique.

Taste awakens our senses. Wine sharpens our focus. We will cultivate our attention to truly discovering wine. This chapter is an introduction to wine tasting. We will explore what to look for in a wine, agree on basic terminology, and gain theoretical know-how through our tasting experience.

Meet Maria

Meet Maria

Maria lives in Thessaloniki, Greece. She studied chemical engineering in her hometown and enology in Bordeaux, France. Having worked at first- and second-growth châteaus, she developed a true appreciation for wine and the art of tasting. Back in Greece, her expertise has led her to creative roles in evaluating and selecting wines, and coordinating food and wine events.

With a sensory-based and experiential approach to passion for simple life and healthy living. She hosts virtual wine sessions designed to enhance understanding and enjoyment, offering online tastings via zoom for individuals or groups.
